The Combined Screener is your shortlist โ only stocks qualifying in both Technical and Value appear here. This guide explains the 4 conviction tiers, the dual-panel card layout, and how to act on each tier.
The Combined Screener only displays stocks that qualify in both the US Technical Screener and the US Value Screener simultaneously. Think of it as an intersection โ the list is intentionally short and high-signal.
Where the Technical Screener asks "is this stock moving?" and the Value Screener asks "is this business fundamentally sound?", the Combined Screener asks both at once. Only stocks that answer yes to both make the cut.
Instead of a single verdict badge, the Combined Screener assigns one of four tiers based on the combination of the stock's Technical verdict and Value verdict:
A Combined card shows two panels side by side โ one for Technical signals, one for Value signals. You get a complete picture without switching tabs.

Combined is a live intersection โ stocks drop off when either screener's verdict changes. Common reasons:
Star any Combined card to save it to your watchlist (Trial/Premium). Because the Combined list is short โ sometimes fewer than 20 stocks โ starring everything in HIGH CONVICTION tier gives you a tightly curated daily watchlist. Use the Watchlist filter pill to view only your starred picks across any screener tab.
The sort dropdown offers Combined-specific options: Stars โ (Technical score highest first, default), ฮ Score โ (biggest recent technical improvers), Analyst Upside โ, Analyst Rating โ, Earnings โ (closest earnings first), P/E โ, and Mkt Cap โ. Sorting by "Analyst Upside โ" with tier filter set to HIGH CONVICTION is a quick way to identify stocks where technical momentum, fundamental strength, and analyst expectations all point the same direction.
Expand a Combined card and scroll to the 4-week history row. For Combined stocks, a streak of HIGH CONVICTION weeks is a particularly strong signal โ it means the stock has consistently passed all 11 technical rules AND 8+ value signals across multiple runs. Any week showing a lower tier is worth investigating: did the technical side slip, or did a fundamental signal change?
